An interesting collaboration with the marketing department of KLM. For this elaboration I went back in time. I studied old KLM advertisements and wanted to bring back the feeling of 'the beginning'.
For an afternoon I was welcome during the brainstorming session regarding the social media campaign for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. The KLM has 'the Orange Livery' a beautiful blue/orange aircraft to promote the players of the Olympic Games. The aim was to to find the link between the Dutch participants and the orange livery. How do you connect sport with an airplane? I was allowed to sit among this marketing team to visualize all concepts on paper. In this way, the team could immediately see whether this was a good outcome. The final concept was worked out by the designer of this team. A beautiful result with very good reactions!
